Hi, thanks for taking the time to read the About page, probably the most boring page on this site!
Well here goes, I work for a leading IT Solutions company in the South of England. My role within the organisation is to specialise in Business Intelligent applications offering technical consultancy to our clients. The application with most interest from our clients, which falls into the BI category, is Microsoft SharePoint.
I have a background in engineering, as in servers, infrastructure, routers, switches etc… not nuts, bolts and grease. I was a Senior Engineer for 13 years. For 7 of these years I was also a software developer and a web developer (see men can multi task!). A bit of an all rounder, really. I’m not exactly an expert when it comes to application development but I know enough to get myself by, which is more than enough for me. The development and web background is very useful when it comes to extending SharePoint.
